Flowers as self-portraits of feelings

"Flowers as Self-Portraits of Feelings” is an ongoing project consisting of a series of flower images, through which I explore the nature of my painful and ambiguous feelings. The resolution of internal conflicts becomes possible only through the acceptance of heavy emotions and their sublimation into a creative act.

Each series emerges as I process and comprehend various life situations. This inner work helps me remember that human existence is not solely about satisfying bodily and intellectual needs, but also about the mutual dance between the soul and life itself.
  • In Memory of Beauty is about accepting vulnerability.
  • White Shadows is about facing the shadow side of the personality.
  • Make-a-Wish Rainbow Flower is about the miracles that come from conscious decisions.
  • Vanity Fair is about finding balance between ambition and personal growth.
  • Mixed Feelings is about accepting emotional duality.
  • Sweet Nothings is about finding joy in the little things.

Flowers, as symbols of the transience of existence—frozen in eternity through photography—and the subjectivity of color perception, emphasize the uniqueness of each person’s spiritual path: its fragility, and at the same time, its strength.

Therefore, my project will continue for as long as I exist.
